Fly fishing on Mossroddich loch, Dumfries and Galloway
Mossroddich (Moss Roddick) is a 5 acre trout loch situated on the outskirts of
St John’s Town of Dalry, 16 miles north of Castle Douglas, south west Scotland.
Mossroddich has stunning views over the local countryside and is
frequently stocked with with trout between 2lb and 5lb with the
occasional heavier fish weighing up to 15lb for good measure.
Permits available from March to October
Daily permits : £25.00 per rod (8hr session)
Evening tickets are also available: £15 per rod (4 hour session)
Fly Fishing lesson: £85.00 (3hr session)
